I think that you really have to be into John Lennon's music to like this album - if you're a Lennon virgin buy Imagine instead. Having said this, in my opinion some of his best work is on this album. Whether or not you agree with his politics Sunday Bloody Sunday is a great Lennon number with attitude and some venom. Woman is the Nigger of the World has some fine singing on it and even Sisters O sisters is one of Yoko's best - Blondie-esque!
