Ok, first thing's first- I'm totally biased! I purchased this CD becasue I love the music of this artist- John Frusciante. John's solo work is entirely different to his part in the Chili Peppers (whom I also adore!).
The songs on this CD reach an inner depth, reflecting John's experiences, beautiful talent and raw emotion. Some of the songs are very tranquil, some more the opposite. In my opinion, to say this album is awesome wouldn't begin to do it justice. So I'll leave to there!

I am a big fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and I heard a song on Myspace from John Frusciante and I really liked it so I decided to look for the album. The album is fantastic and Frusciante's voice really comes through on all the songs, it's a really lovely voice and with the mostly acoustic music it really does stand out. The lyrics are really creative and seem to come from him and what he goes through in his life so it feels extra personal too.
