A Joanna Trollope's A Village Affair (DVD 2003)

I liked the setting and quite fancied the two brothers.

I disliked the way it ended. I felt that the lesbian affair should have lasted as it portrayed a lesbian affair generally does not last.

I bought it because my sister is a lesbian and felt it may bring me more understanding.

I tried to find a village affair in loads of shops in the uk,it wasn't until i checked out e-bay that i found it,i found the price of my item very good,the film has a very good story line 2 it which i love,although it would b very good if they made a remake of this movie as it was made in the early 90's,so all in all i was very pleased with the price of the dvd and the post and packaging costs so thatnks!!!

It is a good production, well acted...Sophie Waugh is particularly good as the rather gauche girl who falls inlove with her best friend and ruins her marriage and Claire Bloom is also great as the ghastly, manipulative mother in law....
