Jl Audio 12W0 Car Subwoofer

I bought 3 of these back in 2001.

Powered by about 400wrms in a 3 cuft box. However, they can handle more, 250wrms would be ideal per sub.

pro's- lightweight, musical, sturdy build quality, better than alot of the tat sold today by the chienese companies.

Con's- doesn't go mega low, but then not many subs at this price range do. Not the most poweful sub in the world, but then again, you could always go for the w3.

A great, tight sound and as the other reviewer said, handles high power loads well. Shook my wing mirror off. At this price point, don't miss out.

I think JL is absolutely up there with the best routes to go down when choosing In car Entertainment, Upon speakin to my partner about what components choose as I didnt want a silly sound system what you find in the likes of puntos with neons and spinner hubcaps! He advised me Phoenix Gold, Rockford Fosgate, And of course JL Audio. Out of the options I found JL to be a really good option Pricewise, For a 12" sub, carpeted box, and amp I paid £40!! Fantastic as you can pay over double in halfords for the likes of "Fusion" and "Mutant," Rather notttt Thank you very much!!!
