Can't remember why I decided to buy a CD by this artist - must have read about him somewhere. I'm glad I did though, he has a great voice, melodic, soulful, angelic - great.

There are many versions of the song "Hallelujah". However, if you want to listen to the BEST one, Jeff Buckley is "The ONE" to listen to. None of the others do the song any justice. The rest of the CD has a calming and soothing effect on me. I find it relaxing to sit and listen to the whole Grace CD, especially when I'm fed up with one thing or another. Simply put, this is a lovely CD which you can listen to over and over again. I do.

I have been purchasing music since I was a lad of 15, I am now nearly 60 and I can truthfully say that I have never heard such tuneless drivel. I bought this cd because I liked his version of a leonard cohen song that I heard recently. The worst thing is that I bought a dvd at the same time and thats just as bad.

This cd is great, first of all i bought it because of the song Haullah
and wanted to comapre it with the version thats in the charts at the moment,

What a fantastic album so different to anything else I have in my CD collection but definately a must for yours. He has a very beautifull haunting voice. A must have album.

I first heard Jeff Buckleyon flux music channel off sky+. He did "Hallelujah" (a song off shrek)and the video was powerful enough performance that id buy his album "Grace". And what a album!! Im very refined in my music selection (no pop chart rubbish here my friends!!) and to hear this album on some great hifi im fortunate to own, is like a breath of fresh ear. Grace, Hallelujah, so real, and eternal life are just great music, i later found out that his "Grace" album is in the top 20 of all time, source: NME Magazine and i have to say im not suprised. How can he ever expect to match this wonderful debut album? Jeff Buckley-You have arrived!!!! Top drawer!!!!

‘Fish’ on Planet Rock played the track ‘Lilac Wine’ from this album and that was enough for me to track down the CD. Of course I checked out Internet suppliers and, as usual, Ebay came up trumps. The CD arrived in great condition and it’s a magical and diverse collection of tracks with some haunting vocals. My wife thinks it has a bit of a Nick Drake influence. A recommended listen!
