James Blunt - All The Lost Souls [ECD] (CD 2007)

I know you either love or hate James but I got into his first album and then heard the new single 1973 and was like wow and I am a person that unless it is a really great album it takes me more than one listening to get into it and this is one of those from first listen that I love. Yes we have waited a while but the wait has been worth it.

I managed to get myself a pre-release copy of this and I love it. It has been soo long since we have had anything from old James Blunt that I was starting to forget his music.

If you loved his first album you will love this . . . its awesome. I would definately recommend it.

It is a lovely cheery album - well to be truthful it is full of woe but then that is what he does best of all. I have decided to marry him as his music is lovely and the album is great - the kids are singing along.

Great singer, all the songs are really good and I can listen the whole CD all day long. Safe purchase as you cannot be disapointed (even me who is more in dancefloor kind of music)

Songs that've been released and others that are new. Great to sing along to, highly recommended for James Blunt fans.

Well put togeter typical of artist easy listening. Althouh 1973 was the reason I purchased the cd was not disappointed with the rest of the album. Would recommend

I Loved James Blunts first album so was really looking forward to the second album.It is brillant,every song is a gem especially 1973,Carry you Home,and I Really Want You which is my favourite track on the album.

This album is more mature sounding then Back to Bedlam but is just as good.Was well worth the wait.

james 2nd album has a lot to live up to! after the huge sucess of "back to bedlam" with the killer singles "you're beautiful" and "goodbye my lover"

its good if you already like him but nothing new! he reminds me of a cross between chris de burgh and tracy chapman! i love tracy...i dont like chris de burgh!

the album opens with the first single "1973" and although i think its one of the best i get a bit lost cos was mr blunt born in 1973 well he certainly was'nt out partying like the song suggests! so although its a great catchy track it seems its a bit "what rhymes with this" still its catchy..8/10

"one of the brightest stars" is too much like chris de burgh..a bit sickly sweet! 4/10

"ill take everything" has some great lyrics..but not amazing! 6/10

"same mistake" is a great song ruined by one verse about sending men to fight....yes james was in the army but it doesnt fit in and ruins a great track! 6/10


"carry me home" is a great track except a lyric thrown in to appeal to the american market! so many bands have tried it..it doesnt work! and you fans in the uk can see through it...usa artists wouldnt think of doing it to appear more cred to us in the uk..so why do british artists do it! 7/10

"give me some love" is a filler 7/10

"i really want you" is probably me favourite track! but if you read the lyrics one set of lyrics seems out of context and spoils the feel of the song 8/10

"shine on" is ok but nothing special1

"annie" is ok pleasant enough but forgettable#2

"i cant hear music" ends the album with probably the best track on the album...its a killer track and oneof the few where he sounds like hes singing from expereince and the soul!

in a brief! fans of mr blunt wont be dissapionted! but if you look a little deeper a lot of the songs seems formulated! wont break new groud but still a good follow up!

Enjoyed this more than the first album - some tracks on here I really took to instantly, and very good listening.

All his songs seem to sound the same to me. I'll bet he was a real bundle of laughs when he was in the forces. Anyway I'm glad he's doing so well really ! ! !

Had CD before but lost it, I seen him live and he fantastic, wanted another CD and was pleased I found it on her and even happier I found it with a great e bayer.

Liked the first album but this (appart from 1973)has not grown on me yet..............................................................(sorry i have to use 100 characters!)

i bought this as i have his previous album and just love his voice. the songs, music &lyrics are fantastic, such a great all round artist, i really reccommend this album to all.

Unfortunately i didnt think this album was as great a the first album. maybe my expectations were high after the first album. i love the track 1973 and was hoping the album would follow this greatness but i was dissapointed.

james blunt exceeds himself on his 2nd album. All the songs are great!! highly recommended to all who liked his 1st album.

The CD is a copy, iam not staying with ebay much longer too many bad ebayers i bid on a watch the other day, to find the seller had is friend bidding the watch up so i retracted my bid, then is friend did the same, and now i can only buy it now.why take it out on honest people? this a copy and i intend to report this outside ebay if nothing done very soon.

Was planning on buying this CD was delighted with it. Fast and efficient service would use it again .

You can't beat James Blunt for a bit of mournful, meaningful soul searching! This album is just like the first, it's a 'grower'. At first listen you may not feel the same way about this album as you feel about the first album, however I remember that it took a few plays for me to fully appreciate the 1st album too! If you like James Blunt you shouldn't be disappointed, but give it a chance! You wont regret it!

if you like james blunt, youll like this cd, not as good as 1st album but still good songs. some songs arnt as good as others. but if you are a true james blunt fan you will like it. i decided to buy it as i liked few of the songs also im a collector, if i buy onje album i just have to buy them all.

this cd is better than james last one , i bought it myself when it came out , and my mother heard it , so i got her it for her birthday , she never has it off.its nice to listen to when u want to unwind , my rating is 9/10
