I've been a supporter of DAB radio since it's earliest days and I am well aware of the limitations of the system but like the wide range of stations on offer. I purchase this unit to replace a more expensive Sony radio that had given very poor service with very poor reception. The JVC whilst being much cheaper has the option of buying an external matching roof mount ariel. Whilst the ariel whacks the price up by another £50 the results are worth every penny. I'm delighted with the results .
