Isolation (DVD)

I bought this on the advice of a friend that the first half hour was the scariest in the last few years. It isn't. I'm sorry to say that I found most of the film extremely boring. I'm not a great fan of horro anyway, but there just wasn't enough going on in this story to make you want to stick with it. Add to this that most of it takes place at night so you can't see much (okay it's a horror but I would like to be able to see something). There isn't a build up of character before things start going wrong and when things do start going wrong they do so at a painfully slow rate.

The picture does pick up in the last half hour but ultimately this is slow and somewhat predictable. I wouldn't buy it unless it's cheaper than renting, and then only if you are a horror/creature-feature enthusiast.

think of going to the cinema an the films crap! well this isnt that film. its a low budget b-movie thats on par with dog soldiers. only 6 people in the whole film until the last 2 minutes. its got a brilliant scence of british rainy sundays. along with a story never before herd (lol "herd" its about a cow farmer) great horror thriller
