This album has all the classics, from The Number of the Beast, Run To The Hills, up to the last studio album, being a big maiden fan, had to buy it, even though i have all the songs already.

) If you don't know much about Iron Maiden and are wondering what all the fuss is about, or why they are the biggest selling metal band of all time - buy this album!!! It's basically a greatest hits, up to 2002.
16 tracks - 13 of which are awesome, 3 i'm not so keen on namely 'Holy Smoke' 'Man on the Edge' and 'Futureal' which are naff imo.
But the rest are up there with the best maiden songs of that generation. I lent this album to a friend who scratched it up and I just had to buy it again. Basically if you want the best of maiden without buying the full set of albums, get this. You'll be amazed I guaruntee it.
imo, if you swapped the 3 tracks that I don't like for 'Powerslave,' 'Aces High' and 'Hallowed Be Thy Name' this album would be perfect!

Iron Maiden - Edward The Great (Greatest Hits) (CD 2002
) So far I've never been disappointed with an Iron Maiden album and that includes this one, you love it or hate it. It has a lot of their very best songs.

I BOUGHT THIS CD AS IT HAS AMONGST THE BIGGEST AND MOST POPULAR IRON MAIDEN SONGS ON IT. I'M VERY MUCH INTO HEAVY METAL BUT HAVE NO 'MAIDEN IN MY COLLECTION. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH IT, PLUS MY GIRLFRIEND LIKES THEM TOO, IT GIVES HER A BREAK FROM LISTENING TO MY HEAVY STUFF LIKE CHIMERA, CRADLE OF FILTH ETC.
