Iron Maiden - Death On The Road (Live) (CD 2005)

A good set comprising of Maiden old and new, focusing on material from their Dance of Death album (in my opinion one of their best studio albums since Seventh Son) and showing the three guitar attack in full force. The sound quality is less then perfect in some places, but the playing is incredible, as can be expected from live Maiden.

One of the best live C.D.s ever made containing all the well known songs and a lot more. The fan of live music will apreciate the amount of fan partisipation. An absolute must for the Iron Maiden fan but not quite so good for the non initiated. Eather way i hope you like it as much as i do. Up the Irons.

This is exactly what we have come to expect from Iron Maiden over the years!

had to get this cd again as last one got scrathed, overplayed, fantastic live album!.I have never been dissapointed with any music Iron Maiden have produced and they sound great live

an awesome performance from an awesome band! i saw them on this tour and the cd captures the moment well.

I like Iron Maiden, any fan will like this album or if it's your type of music, then it's well worth a try, if you haven't already.

First of all, it's Maiden, so what's not to love??

I love Maiden live simply because of how they open their gigs, Rock in Rio and this (Death on the Road) have to be two of the best opening classical/creepy tracks going.
And then it rolls straight into the thundering wildest dreams, and continues to be a solid live album of new tracks, and old favourites. Until 'No more lies', which in my opinion is rather a lame track... but out of a double disc set containing more than 15 great tracks you can over look this one!

All in all a great way for new Maiden fans to get into the 'feel' of the beast with new and old coming together well, and obviously another CD in the rack for all the old Maiden lovers (like me, who has all their CD's, including the BBC sessions, and most of the LP's and a few picture discs!)

Great live album from the mighty MAIDEN. Good to hear songs like Paschendale and Lord of the flies live, and alongside the old classics. I saw maiden on this tour and this Album is a perfect example of the Mighty Maiden on top form.

AS A LOVER OF MAIDEN AND LIVE ALBUMS, THIS DOUBLE CD DOES NOT DISAPPOINT.
ENDLESS CLASSIC MAIDEN MIXED WITH NEW CLASSICS TO BE, WHICH I AM SURE WILL FEATURE TIME AND TIME AGAIN ON TOUR. I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO SAY ITS BRILLIANT !!! A MUST HAVE, THEN WHEN YOU CANT GET ENOUGH BUY IT ON DVD IN 5.1 DOLBY SURROUND SOUND AND THEN YOU CAN APPRECIATE THE ALBUM ALL THE MORE

i bought this for my partner,he lives this kind of music(i hate it)but he has wanted this album i got it for a great price and delivery was very prompt the cd was in new condition so there was no problems.
