Invasion - The Complete Series (DVD)

Invasion was a fantastic sci-fi TV show set in Florida. The plot was similar to that of classic sci fi movie "Invasion Of The Body Snatchers". In the aftermath of a hurricane, lights in the sky fall to earth and people are missing (later to return ... but changed). It was great viewing with dramatic storylines, tension, shocks and surprises.

Sadly, however, the show was pulled and the second series was never made ... (mainly as a rsult of the actors changing channels, contracts and being involved in other long running TV projects).

There was a massive internet campaign to change this and rumours of a new series are starting to surface ... it doesn't in any way spoil the enjoyment of Invasion ... and the complete series one box set is highly recommended !!!

I think this is an excellent series and hope they make a second one as quick as possible! Im a fan box sets and this one has a great storyline which could go on for some time! I hope it,s not the end of invasion! Long may it continue!

I BOUGHT IT FOR MY HUBBIE, HE LOVED THIS SERIES WHEN HE FIRST SAW IT ON TV, A WHILE AGO. EVERYONE, (NOT JUST US.) THINK THE MAKERS OF THIS SERIES, MADE A MISTAKE IN NOT CONTINUING THE STORY, AS IT ENDED, WITH HINTS OF A SECOND SERIES, WHICH NEVER MATERIALISED.
I BUY DVD'S A LOT FOR MY HUBBIE, HE HAS SOME PHYSICAL DISABILITIES, AND HE IS OFTEN HE IS BEDBOUND WITH PAIN. HE ALSO HAS AN ABOVE AVERAGE IQ, SO TO KEEP HIM OCCUPIED AND PASS TIME, TAKE HIS MIND OFF THE PAIN ETC, HE READS BOOKS, WATCHES DVD'S ETC.

Having seen the first episode on TV, ages ago!!! It was something I wanted to watch from start to finish.
Overall it enjoyed it, and never got lost in it at all. with some series they go off track some what, but with invasion you never felt like this. I have watched it twice now and still enjoyed it as much the second time round, the only thing that I felt a bit let down by was the ending, it is hungry for a second series!!!
Overall EXCELLENT.

A very good story line which leaves you glued to the screen.
the plot just gets better and better as the show goes along.
Not gonna say any more well worth a look at.

I found every episode intriguing, keeping you on the edge of your seat as to what was going to happen...from one episode to the next...is he a goody, or really a baddie? I did tape it from the t.v, but of course it's better to own on dvd!
The only thing i dont look forward to. (I haven t actually watched the dvd yet.) Is the fact that the series was ended as a 'to be continued' structure for the next series- which means there are unanswered situations. And of course this was one of them series they then decided not to continue, so really you are left with what would have happened questions? (That's the only thing that spoilt it for me- otherwise the review would have been given an excellent ).
If you saw it on t.v yourself you'll know how exciting/interesting is was anyway.It's just a shame they couldn't or wouldn't have made an extended one episode to finish the story lines as much as they possibly could. Or get someone to write it in in story form and the book could have been bought to finish off the story??? :)

Invasion was a really great sci-fi series, in the same tradishion on Invasion of the body snatchers, but with a twist. if you like the 4400 or Taken then this is well worth a look. The only down side is that there is only one series and the ending is disapointing as there is no real concusion.

i miss out watching this on the tv.... i was told it is a great series... got it off ebay for the cheapness price......very pleased with the price the film and the service i got from this seller...

great story. i started watching it on sky but missed the last five episodes so i decided to buy it. great acting good effects. the sort of series you could watch more than once.

Since i watched it on tv, i was hooked because of the drama,genre,the suspicion and the storyline. It's a fantastic series, it really got me screaming at the tv throughout the series,especially at the very last episode.

I don't dislike any thing about the series, to me it's all great, the extra's are great. I decided to buy it because i have been after it for a while and i missed the intense storyline of the plot, then i just decided to buy it now option. I would highly recommend watching this tv series.

It was intended as a birthday present for my mother.! She was an avid watcher of the initial episodes on TV, but with her work committments she never managed to watch the series through to its conclusion.

I went looking for Invasion as i had seen it on tv. I never saw the last few episodes and as i had enjoyed it on tv i wanted to see how it ended. I thought it was really good and am glad that i bought it. The dvd's were new and sealed and were in excellent condition. I was very happy with my purchase.

I often wonder, when there is only one season, if the producers think that it doesn't warrant a second, third, fourth, fifth, as with Invasion, so many other series are cut off in their prime, it's such a shame.

I have watched and thoroughly enjoyed the series, so come on, lets have some more!!
