Interactive Who Wants To Be A Millionaire 3 (DVD)

It is highly addictive. The only gripe I had was phone a friend can include children as well who won't know the difficult answers lol. A very good game and is all the better for being multiplayer as long as the other players can keep quiet!

I bought it to play a game that both my grandchildren could play with myself and not feel as if the grown-ups were taking over,also very educational as well as funny if you don't know the answers and the children do.

i enjoy watching programme and i wanted to play it with my family or friends.
it can be hard or easy as you like as you have childfens questionbs or adult questions. we also liked it because you have interactive questions. a whole lot of fun for either one or two people or a whole group.

I've always enjoyed the television show so to be able to play "Millionaire" myself rather than shouting at the TV is great. As the background music is played, the tension mounts, even though I know there isn't any money at stake.

It's also fun to be able to play against friends and family, as it's always good to compete.

I bought it having purchased another DVD edition for a friend's birthday, tried that out, and realised how much fun it was.

Can't fault this game - I note the other reviews, but I experienced no bugs at all. It kept the family playing in teams each evening through the Christmas break. We are all hooked.
If you plan to use it on the TV in the lounge then ideally (essential if you don't want to sit next to the DVD player) you need a DVD player that has a remote control as it is very interactive.

If you like this game on the TV, then you will have a lot of fun - it is just like you are taking turn in the hot seat talking to Chris T.

I owned one of the first "who wants to be a millionaire" titles and liked it very much, which is why i bought this one. One of the only problems with the original versions were the lack of questions and after a while you would learn a few which was obviously an unfair advantage, but this version has many more questions and therefore that problem has been erased. Also the addition of picture questions give it a bit more variety which is never a bad thing. Also the addition of the junior questions is great so that younger players can join in and this does not have to be purely an adult game. There are only 2 things that i do not like about this game: 1. The first 5 question which are generally nothing more than a waste of time. In the later games these are reduced to 2 questions as in the program so this is not a flaw with the game, more a flaw with the show. 2. Now i know this will sound like a slight contradiction to my first problem but some of the first 5 questions are really quite a lot harder than they should be. 1 player may get a really easy question as expected in the first 5 and then another gets a really hard one that no one knows and it just seems slightly unfair. Also sometimes on lets say an 8000 question, for example, someone would get a fairly hard question as expected and then someone else would get a really really easy one which once again i would consider unfair. These are only small complaints but just a couple of what i would consider bad points. All in all though a fun game for all the family and i would recommend it.

This is just like the real thing on tv, the only real dislike i have is the phone a friend option could be beter, it's not really helpful, and often doesn't give an opinion, whereas a real phone a friend would, having said that this dvd is a must for all true fans of the tv show!

Having both the original games the family edition was very disapointing.On ask the audience you nine times out of ten get a panel of six or 9 year olds. Not great when there are adults playing. The game is a lot slower and the pictorial questions just slow it down more.
Was most dissapointed in this edition.

i like quizzes I have always enjoyed general knowledge games but this one is the pick of the bunch by a mile it really keeps you on your toes 100% I havent been to successful ay it yet but I am working on it I will get there trust me

very pleased with price . i just had to have it .as me and my husband love games. even when he wins all the time.

Its a good fun quiz to play with friends with no arguing and cheating! Only issue is that the same questions come round again and we haven't played it that often.

I haven't tried any other quiz DVD so maybe they are all like that?

I like these. Easy to play. Easy to navigate. Addictive! Only issue with product is that its a little slow......probably due to the layering of the game/format etc. But nevertheless its a good family game that can be played on the telly or the computer. Watch out for the 'Amy Turtle' question where the answer should of course be 'Crossroads' but the game seems to think it is 'Coronation Street'!!!!!!!!

I was looking for some family games and bidded on the above. The whole transaction was excellent and the game it self very good. We have had lots of laughs!!

Before buying it I did wonder how they would involve such things as Phone a friend.
Its a splendid dvd and this particular edition is great for all the family to play

i love the normal millionare game but this is even better. the children can play the normal game if they are old enough but with the picture version it makes it easier for them and therefore it really is a family game
