I bought this game to provide entertainment over Christmas for my family and friends.
We found it good and had a few laughs whilst playing.Its very similar to the tv quiz show.
The only let down that it has is the fact that you have to keep score yourself on a piece of paper which can get confusing if you are having a few drinks!!
I also have the Catchphrase DVD game which does keep score for you.
On the whole,Family fortunes is a good game to bring out to keep a small group of people amused,we found it was easier to have one scorekeeper to help avoid cheating and bad maths skills.
DVD games are very good entertainment,this one is fairly average in comparison to others.

This dvd is great, good game for all the family, just the same as the tv game show.

I always liked the tv show plus i liked the idea of being able to play it by the dvd.

Got this for Christmas and I think it's a great fun game for all the family to play. If you remember the TV show, this is as much fun as that. Features the famous UH-UH noise!

A good game for the family, your mum dad or nan will love it. It is entertainment for all the family.

Item arrived in jiffy envelope so well protected. THe DVD did stick in a few places, and looked as though it was a copy not an original as I expected it to be and paid for.

cant get an uh-uh out of mine, other sounds ok though, not really faithful to the original in bob and les dennis's day, don't like this music either. 6/10

It came very fast and was in good condition.Was reasonably priced. I wanted it for a stocking filler for Xmas.

A little disappointed that this has to be a two player game unlike the mobile phone game where it can be one player verses the computer. Have only looked at the game on tv, not as yet played it as i am normally a single player. Beware if you are the same as me and want single player games. You could play this as single player but you would have to be two families at the same time which defeats the object of this game. If i have know this prior to purchase i probably would not have bought it, however, it will make a good present for family later in the year.

Seems ok, but the main bone of contention is that you cannot play a singles game properly.

I like the game of Family Fortunes on the television, so thought it would be fun to play it with family at home. I bought it as a gift to myself, to keep my brain active and to keep me entertained. It was Good Value and in Good Condition.

Good all round family entertainment, I bought this dvd as my family was joining us on holliday, it gave us some good family fun during the cold evenings.

Seems to be a really nice family game. I gave 1 to my mum for christmas and she really enjoyed it. You seem to get wipeable answer cards and suitable pen which is always a bonus (not having to search for scraps of paper). Overall i would recommend this, especially for a "mum" present. :)

It was ok. I though it would of been better. I bought it for myself to use but instantly got bored of it and instantly sold it again.

We bought this for something fun to play on Christmas day.....it was rubbish!! It only lasted on our tele for 5 mins!! It wasn't really made clear how to play it and was just boring! Definately wouldn't recommend to anyone!

I think this DVD is good fun entertainment for all the family or a group of friends, I do wonder who the 100 people surveyed were as some of the answers are slightly obscure others require some lateral thinking! I decided to buy this as I already have the DVD version of Countdown as I see them as good value entertainment and are especially good fun with friends over a glass of wine!
