This is a great family movie.
As with all CGI movies it works on different levels so it is entertaining for adults as well as children.
The basic plot outline, the government has outlawed all superheroes and forced them to adopt civilian identities.
Fifteen years after the event, we see Bob Parr (Mr Incredible) trying to cope with a mundane life as a insurance clerk, his wife Helen (Elastagirl) keeping the family together in a ‘normal’ suburban environment, this is especially difficult as the children Violet and Dashel have super powers.
Bob is obviously bored by this existence and tries to live the ‘Glory Days’ by listening to a police scanner with his friend Lucious Best (Frozone) in the hope of be able to do a ‘good deed’
Circumstances eventually force Bob to come out of retirement, which obviously impacts on the whole family.
Because of my long interest in superhero comics and the quality of the previous Pixar productions. I actually pre-ordered this DVD (The first and only time I have done this).
I Whole heartedly recommend this to everyone, I love everything about this DVD including the featurette’s and commentaries.
