I am a great fan of the late PETER SELLERS and I am trying to build a collection of all his movies on DVD. I'm all right Jack is an early example of Peters brilliant comedic acting and no collection of Peters work would be complete without this one.

One of the sharpest comedies of it's day in my view. Peter Sellers as Fred Kite is on sparkling form as the Shop Steward, as is Irene Handl as his long suffering wife. All the cliches are there to parody the real Industrial strife and tensions of the period.Dennis Price and Richard Attenborough are superbly slimey as the corrupt toffs and the Dennis Price speech to the workers is a masterpiece in how to demotivate your workforce. Then of course we have Terry-Thomas as the personnel manager who has to deal with the stream of disputes from the works committee. This culminates in arguably his most memorable utterance in his film career when he describes them as " An absolute shower !"
Enjoy !

  Jack is definitely All Right!

A simply super comedy as only the Brits can deliver! The entire cast is a howling success. I center on Sellers as Fred Kite as only Sellers can do it! A pre Lord Peter Wimsey and more youthful Ian Carmichael displays his expertise at tongue in cheek comedy. Who can forget the bowler hat with the cherry on top, not to mention the arrival of the press and "why can't somebody tell them to Fu, Fu, Fu, photograph some other people?". This movie has no downers.

Do I love this movie? Well, I've watched it more than 3 dozen times and likely, will watch it a few dozen more.
