Im collecting my fav films on DVD and this is one of them, Im very happy with it the quality is much better than VHS and it was a bargin. It's a fantastic film and now I have it forever and can watch it over and over at my leasure.

I first watched it when I was a teenager with a gang of friends at my house while my parents were away on holiday and we had a bit of a party afterwards so I suppose it kind of reminds me of my youth the good old days lol aswell as being a top film too.

I bought this dvd off ebay for my son, it is quite hard to get hold of in normal music stores that sell dvd's, the price was fantastic, the service second to non and delivery superfast. The film itself isnt to everyones liking as it is all about soccor hooliganism but it is a very powerful film about how even a straight police undercover could be drawn into such a powerful underworld. Top class film

  I.D. Football Hooligan Film

I first watched this film for a university lecture in psycology. A clean cut undercover cop infiltrates a group of football hooligans, the cop enjoys his role a little too much, and the fine line between cop and hooligan is severly blurred. This film is fantastic, it has everything including some fantastic acting performances form gritty British actors and it's even educational!!!!. Much recommended. BUY IT NOW!!!!.

Ok but the original Firm beats it hands down.

Not your run of the mill Football Hooliganism film, acting was poor, ok if you like 70's violence but i prefered the 80's maybe it was the whole thing, the clothes, the organisation etc, it was my era.
Still, not bad but the whole Shadwell, Wapping thing made it sound like non-league, why didn't they just say it as it was: West Ham, Millwall.
Not a rewatch, the original Firm beats it hands down.

While this film is very entertaining, it is no doubt based loosely on its subject base. Entaintening and poignant.

this is the greatest football hooligan film ever, the passion that the actors put into their characters was amazing, for me that made the film so so good, especially reece dinsdale, slightly biased as i too am a normy lad just like reece, but overall the film is classic, legendary and easily in my top 10 of all time films.

  I.D DVD
Review created: 07/04/08

Saw this film a while ago on VHS and when i saw this movie i was like thats a truly excellent movie been searching round for it for a while but had no luck finding it in shops etc so thought i try ebay and there it was. Truly excellent film in the way the story goes showing what it really is like at football matches with the violence this movie shows just how bad it is and its about time they made films about this highly esculating problem in the UK like other good movies Green Street/The Football Factory. I also found this movie eye opening to what the police force can be like from going undercover on such a scene of Football Holligans.
I bought this absolute classic mpvie to add to my dvd collection cause u never know when they are going to stop releasing it.

but if any one who enjoyed either football factory or green street should see this film.

  Becoming the Character
Review created: 06/12/06

Sean Pertwee is a cop, married, good career. But when he gets assigned to infiltrate a football hooligan 'mob' he loses sight of reality and turns into a monster, by comparison. Tense moments, great fight scenes. An 80's Football Factory. But better!

Review created: 07/06/06

having seen green street and football factory both of which where good. My friend told me about I.D having similar storyline so despite trying various outlets i had no luck until i used ebay found it bought it. Excellent movie about 4 undercover cops joining a football mob to track down ringleaders but one starts forgetting he is actually a cop and starts behaving like a hooligan
