Album Notes The unstoppable momentum generated by Knoxville's A Different Breed of Killer is what makes the title of I, COLOSSUS more than appropriate. Relentless chopper-blade drums, infernal growls, and athletic guitars mark these adventurous deathcore tracks, which are enhanced by a whiplash sense of rhythm that stops on a dime before lurching forward. Aged 17-21, these Killers are certainly still cubs, but paint-peeling dirges such as the doom-laden "The Accidentist" and "Omega" are the work of old souls. I, COLOSSUS aims for an overpowering sense of mass, resulting in a twisted, thundering metal monolith. | |||||||||
