Humax PVR9200T Digital TV Hard Drive Recorder

I checked out all the new hard drive recorders, like Humax, Sony and Thomson. But this model had all the features I wanted. I liked the 2 programmes recording while I watch a third programme or I've recorded options.
Connection of the USB output to the computer for backup of recorded material. (Not tried that yet, told its very slow, the previous owner hadn't opened the photo and music transfer CD software). Limited space of 2GB only for your mpgs.
No faults on the recorder yet. Still finding new things in the operating manual, which is very easy to follow, if you're like me I mess around with the remote and unit then consult the instructions for the reasons that worked.
The ease of use is amazing, no searching for unused or reusable blank videos tapes. The Electronic Program Guide is a little hard to get used but each learnt its a breeze. The Picture in Picture is fun to use to check endings of programs, swapping the screens around in the commercial breaks. The remote likes a cross between a child's toy and crazy themed phone.
The hard drive could be a little bigger, but I think its possible to upgrade it to a larger size in the near future, firmware may be needed to make it recognise the larger hard drive. I will find that out later, when I plan to replace the storage, hopefully, its just as easy as upgrading my computer. The recorder is out of warranty but if not, I can replace the old 160 GB hard drive.
I would recommend this for value, ease of use, reliability and good design.
