Great Horror! Great Story! 5/5 Excellent!
Review created: 07/10/06

Story: Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing star in this creepy tale of a long-frozen "missing link" discovered in the ice in Northern China. As the frozen relic is being transported to England via a trans-Siberian train, passengers begin turning up dead, their eyes drained of all color. This excellent forgotten horror gem has the look and feel of a Hammer production, though it's a Spanish production. Oh, and Telly Savalas is in it, too!

Comments: Great Horror! Great Story! 5/5 Excellent!

Story hits off with a mummy being discovered in ice, they transport it, and it starts to melt. Some people try to take a look at it, and they turn up dead.
Then when they find a bagageman inside the crate where the mummy is supposed to be, they fear its aboard the train ALIVE!
They do a search, find it, kill it, and then it assumes a identity of a person, witch they later discover.
Soldiers come on board after they telegraphed station up ahead, monster kills them all, they telegraph up ahead again to put train on other track, train goes in ravine and 1 passenger car is unhooked and survives and that's the end off movie.

I like the way they told the viewers where the entity originally came from, 2 million years ago from another galaxy, and liked the way they were emanating blood under microscope and found images of the past including Dinosaurs!

Great story, unique and great horror, this one definately belongs in the history books of classic horror.

movie is of 1970's
