Hoover DM4494 001 Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

This is a super upright Hoover vacuum, lightweight and easy to use. I read the reviews for this vacuum from this seller before purchase and on the downside it was said that the lead was short - I find it to be as long as previous vacuum cleaners I have had so cannot see a problem. I have bought it to replace one upstairs but this is light enough to carry up and down the stairs if need be, also it is quieter than my old one. I love it so much I want to show it everybody.

I love Hoover vacuums but mine was in serious need of an update so I started looking. A few months ago I had purchased a similar one for my work place and was not too happy. This one though was a newer model and the features greatly improved. It's 1900W so it has really good suction and yes even on pet hairs - I have 2 cats who seem to drop hairs as they walk! Even the pet hair tool, I use it on the stairs and it's great. The cord is not very long and you need to remember to empty it regularly but I would recommend this vacuum, quite highly.

This hoover is fantastic, it really picks up the dog hairs and does not clog like others.

I wa a bit wary of buying this on ebay but overall i am very satisfied. Th hoover is excellent and has really good suction power. I've got a dog and it gets up all the hairs. I would definitely recommend

Picks up really well compared to my Dyson but dust bin a little small so needs emptying often & cable a bit short. However stair hose is great we live in a steep old terrace with lots of stairs & reaches no problem. Also really really lightweight gone from 19kg+ dyson to a little under 6kg big difference when lugging arounde the home. All floors good & powerful hose

Price of course is fantasic, item is brand new and well packaged. The hoover has a good suction and a range of handy tools. It is quite heavy, but I like that, it feels that it gives you as well as the carpet a good workout.

Cord could do with being a little longer and the "bag" fills up rather quickly, but we do have a houseful of kids and dogs, so it evidently does the job well.

I have owned a dyson in the past, and this is very competative, both in value for money and performance.

This hoover had been put together before but it had not been used and is in excellent condition. The pet attachment works very well. Although the cleaner is a little heavy it picks up stuff from the carpet effortlessly. The weight makes taking it up and down stairs a little difficult for my wife but the length of the suction pipe helps when doing the stairs.

This hoover is great,picks up dirt,hair etc easily.Very good at manovering as the brush head is not too big, and the machine doesn't feel heavy.
There is good filtration,but very easy to clean as there is a dust management system designed inside.The main dirt etc falls into the collection chamber,and the dust mainly collects into a mesh filter what easily pulls out when emptying the machine, just a few knocks and its clean again!There is another filter above that, its again, easy to remove but doesn't need a clean too often,a bit of sponge that you can wash under the tap.This machine is easy to use,but needs emptying out after every use, as picks up more than you realize!
It is quieter than our last machine which was a Vax and lighter.

brilliant hoover....best ive ever brought,got all the right tools in the right place,easy to empty and clean filters.......light and easy to manage...brill design and great colour...my besy buy by far.

i have a golden retriever long hairs ,and with 2 small grandchildren need to be cleaned away , Hoover an excelent vacum will recommend it to my friends ,
