Potty professor Wayne Szalinski (Moranis) invents a unique shrinking machine but in his excitement unwittingly shrinks his own kids! Put out with the rubbish, the children (now only a quarter of an inch high) must try and make their way back to the house without being squashed, eaten or drowned...

I purchased this DVD for my grandaughter and she has watched it five times already. I also have watched it again and found it very thought provoking about all the tiny things were are surrounded by. My grandaughter has now taken to going in the garden with a magnifying glass to find a pet ant:):)
This is an excellent family film and great introduction to insects etc for children.

This film has stood the test of time, it is still good value and keeps kids of all ages entertained without boring the pants off the adults, even if you've seen it time and again.
The trek back through the garden by the 4 miniaturised kids is a thrill without being too scary for little ones.
The special effects are a bit Harryhausen, dated but still effective.

This is a great family retro film, a must for all disney fans. This was a great price about a fiver and also to add, the dvd was brand new. Ebay is a great way to find those rare and limited good old original movies.
