Honey (DVD 2004)

I stumbled on this while channel-surfing and was pleasantly surprised. Many positive messages tucked in to an appealing story acted out by a surpassingly attractive cast: Be true to yourself; follow your dream (but don't sell out); love your neighbor, stay loyal to your friends, your family, and your 'hood. It reminded me of when I saw Krush Groove as a teen and it gave me a window into a whole other world. Except now hip hop is the dominant pop culture and not exotic anymore. But we still rarely get to see positive characters of color with their emotional depth fully explored. Lil Romeo gives an especially nuanced performance

i do like break dancin, it good and fananstic its why i decided to buy it and alot ppl likes it so its brilliant

It is difficult to comment at present on this DVD as I have brought it for my 14 year old daughter for Crhistmas. However, she has seen this DVD before and likes it so much she wanted her own copy, hence 'good' rating.

what a great film, so lively and wonderful, full with action, and the end is super i love it, they all get a dance studio and do a charity performance which is out of this world, love the film highly recommend !

This is a film I missed at the cinema and decided to buy it because I like dance and music films a lot(completely deluded dreams of Broadway). A good high energy family film that falsely makes you believe you could have been an MTV video hottie if only you had the body/ moves/ co-ordination. WARNING: Do not attempt to recreate anything you see in the film. My leg is still in traction.

This is a great film. It explains how a hip hop dance teacher makes it big in the world of dance.... Until her boss comes on to her and jeopardises her career and the children who she taught are distraught when the great idea of having them in a music video, get swapped for a very unsexy dancer.

i wanted to buy it cos i love the film and it doesnt jump its perfect for all the family to watch if they like this sort of film

i love this film and saw some of it on tv and wanted the dvd, i really enjoy dance films and this is just what i wanted

What a movie! Good girl who aspires to do well, does even better and outshines them all.

Great dancing, fab script, a few well known faces and funky clothes.

All teenagers will love this DVD especially the girls, who will love Jessica Alba's dance moves and her beauty is never overwhelming.

If you dont get the DVD, you'll miss out and your teenager will never forgive you!

Honey (DVD 2004) is an excellent film that i saw on television and really wanteD to buy. I saw it on ebay about a month ago and at an excellent price brought it. The DVD was delivered the next couple of days. Its in excellent condition with no scratches or marks on, a very well looked after DVD.

i loved it the fact that it came on time to my house. the film was great and also in great condition. i watched it the day it came i was so exited

this a movie for people who love danicing, hh music and love stories. great cast, fabulous story, so you can expect more. i would recommend it to everybody. similar to Step Up or Save The Last Dance. Those who love films shown above will love Honey.

this is a great film for all the girls no matter what there age a must for any teen sleepover i bought this a while ago for my thirteen year old and it has been whatched almost every time she has a sleepover which as an only child is most weekends im afraid keeps them entertained and they never get fed up with it

Really good film, loved every second of it! Jessica Alba is great in this film though the stroy line isn;t as in depth as you would like it to be. Happy ending though so it's a great feel good film for both adults and kids.

Think it is a great film, with the people in it and especially the dancing!
