It was great to rediscover these concerts on dvd, I had not seen Hinge and Bracket for many years and had forgotten how talented they were. It is such a shame that there seem to be no other concerts available to buy. I can thoroughly recommend this set, there is a lot of humour but also some wonderful music. Hinge and Bracket seem to be almost forgotten now but they deserve to be popular again as they are superb entertainers. There are two discs and these dvds are excellent value, you will want to watch them again and again.

The BBC have released some H&B episodes on DVD (after receiving a petition from the fabulous H&B fans!)
A second DVD is expected to be released this month due to pressure from the public
GALA EVENINGS is charming ,and ticks all boxes for entertainment!
Superb musicianship coupled with hilarious 'old school' performances and dear ladies banter confirms that George Logan and Patrick Fyffe were about as talented as you can get!
From the contents of Dr.Edvadne's handbag
crepe bandage,tin of sardines,mousetrap etc.
to the prestigious logo on Dame Hilda's A MAUDLEY GROGAN ORIGINAL
the entire DVD throws up surprises and little comic gems!
Even the original butcher Teweksbury Pholman makes an apppearance!
DVD's ,film footage are rare of these Dear Ladies -
thanks to the fan club and their stalwart dedication
we have at least these performances to enjoy!
