Hinge And Bracket - The Dear Ladies And Gala Evenings Collection - Complete (DVD)

What can you say about one of the best comedy shows of yesteryear? Excellent; Superb; Brilliant. The list is endless. If you are a dedicated fan of Hinge and Bracket there is very little to say except, expect the best.
The actual film quality leaves a lot to be desired but the content is wonderful. Here we see two guys dressed as women and living, to all intents and purposes, a life of upper middle class comfort. They always plead poverty but it still isn't our sort of poverty.
The situations and occurrences that surround this pair bring one hearty laugh after another and the backstabbing actions display a certain reality to life as we live it.
If you get the chance to view this presentation you might be well advised to do it a bit at a time as it's on for quite a few hours, and too much of the same thing could wear a bit thin, even for the more ardent viewer.
To sum it up in a few words I would say, "It's one of the best collections that I have ever bought".
