Originally released as Atlantic (19244). The 2003 edition of HIGHWAY TO HELL includes liner notes by Ernie Welch.All tracks have been digitally remastered.It will always be a mystery how a grown man can spend his life wearing a school tie and short pants and receive adulation from the heavy metal fraternity. HM followers do not tolerate a cissy, yet the hugely talented Angus Young has become something of a hero. His riff-laden fills, combined with the tough vocals of the late Bon Scott, made AC/DC one of the genre's all-time leading lights. Bordering on the lighter side of metal, songs such as 'Love Hungry Man', 'Touch Too Much' and the title track will always delight. Report this review ACDC - Highway to Hell CDReview created: 07/04/08 by: I was feeling nostalgic about all the old rock music that I had listened to on my LP's and sad that I had not got this particular album on cd as my record player was out of action. I browsed through the ebay categories and there it was! I had to bid and I won. The CD came in a cardboard wallet type but the cd plays fine, and it was really good to hear the album again. Not only that but the ebayer threw in a compilation rock cd that he'd had from a newspaper some time ago that I did not have, which was very generous of him. All in all a very positive experience! Packed from start to finish with classic tracks such as the title track of the albim and Touch Too Much. An absolute must for any AC/DC fan or any lover of rock music.
