I think this is a good film.Certainly not as bad as some people make out it is.
The story is good,David (robert di niro) and his daughter Emily (dakota fanning) move to the country after the suicide of her
mother to try and start a new life,but things start going badly when Emily makes friends with an imaginary person called Charlie
and soon things get out of control.
There are a few scares and surprises in the film,but it's the acting from Dakota Fanning and Robert Di Niro that are the
best points about this film and i think people should try it and judge for themselves with this film.
On the region 2 dvd there are some extras including 4 alternative endings,some deleted scenes and a making of feature.

This film has you on the edge of your seat throughout, And you wait for the twist at the end which has you thinking for ages....

I bought this film as I am a huge Dakota Fanning fan,she's a terrific little actress,the film is very good and has an excellent twist at the end which on the first time of watching I certainly didn't see it coming. I can't believe that such a young child can deliver such an amazing performance,definatley worth getting this one.

I love psychological films that make you really think about whats happening and why, this film does that and more, with added jumps and scares its a great all round thriller, I was looking for this film for some time so was pleased when i found it on ebay for the right price. If you like films like final destination or sixth sense then this is for you.

this film is a million emotions in one. it has the suspense, family ties, the unexpected noises, and gore. robert deniro plays a father, his wife die's unexpectedly and from there the twists and turns of who dunnit begins.
it keeps you guessing untill the very end. and believe me when i say , you wont know who it is untill the end. robert deniro has made some unforgetable films in his time. this id most certainly one of them.
who is charlie...... you will have to watch to find out!

After his wife dies in an apparent suicide, Dr. David Callaway (Robert De Niro) elects to move from New York City to a house in the country with his daughter Emily (Dakota Fanning). Unfortunately, Emily meets her new imaginary friend "Charlie" shortly after the move, and strange things begin to happen. David begins to wonder: is Charlie imaginary or not?

i loved this film, i thought it was excellent. great acting by Robert De Niro and Dakota Fanning.one great actor and one great actress. the story was brilliantly set out. I found it never had a bad bit, there was alwalys something keeping you watching.

I bought this dvd because I had seen bits of it before and wanted to see the whole film. It has an unexpected ending to it which I like to see in a film as I'm not keen on predictable endings.
The dvd I bought had special features that included: 4 alternate endings, audio commentaries, the making of the film, 14 deleted scenes and pre-vis sequences.
You can choose to skip to a scene between 1 and 32 if you've missed any part for any reason which I found helpful.
I would recommend this film as a watch it once dvd!

Hide and SeekLoved this film. Psychological thrillers are my favourite genre of movie so I was keen to see this one. When i did i was impressed in everyway, fantastic actors, well directed and a plot full of wists and turns to rival a roller coaster!!!
