Hewlett Packard Photosmart 945 Digital Camera

I bought this camera as faulty because I wanted the little rubber ring which fitted around the eyepiece because I had lost mine and spares were unobtainable from HP. As it happened when the camera turned up it also had this ring missing so I was a bit miffed! However the fault was just red lines across the pictures otherwise all worked OK. The fault looked like it was a bad connection somewhere inside ..So having nothing to lose I took the back off poked all the connectors I could see, put the back on again and Het Presto it all worked perfectly and has done ever since. So now quite chuffed!
The missing little rubber ring is really only cosmentic and does not affect the working of the camera at all.
