I wanted to buy a small laptop which was light and could be carried around.I looked at the super small notebooks but on grounds of price went for the HP NC4010. It is fantastic. Even though this is a second hand unit and both the batteries (it has a double unit to double battery life) have seen better days, the keyboard, build quality, weight (1.6kg) and size are all good. I particularly like the detachable DVD writer and SD card reader.
It's proof that a good quality, small laptop can be bought for less that £200.

This laptop screams quality. Every part of it is well designed. I have two. I bought one for the missus, offered to swap it with her for my much higher spec wide screen laptop and she said no. I bought my own. Superb battery life. Excellent performance for the rated specifications. It has all the modern features you'd expect from a good business laptop, Blue tooth, wifi, expandable memory ect... Really is preferred over laptops twice it's price. Good bit of kit.
