Hewlett Packard Compaq 6720s PC Notebook

To average rating goes not for the product but for the arrogant seller who assumes every body knows the workings of a Laptop. after a few emails explaining my problems setting up the Latop i received stern replies written in a SHOUTING way.
The other was the description of the product which have was misleading it stated to a Business Vista package installed whereas it was a Basic Vista package. If the laptop was for me and not my daughter i would have returned it.

It is not an excellent laptop. It's a very good one. Very simple, doesn't have hundreds of unneeded buttons. Which is good. It's fast enough, it's big enough. And the material it was built from is strong enough - so it won't get damaged or break quickly. Very good home and work laptop.

Great ebay price, lots of features. Hate the loaded try-it for 30 days software. Not happy with the reflecting "bright" screen, but the images are crisp and sharp.

It is big for a normal lap top carry case but it is light and I can get around my clients with the thing on fast start up so no need for the brick and plug to recharge the battery.

Would I pay the full price for this spec - no. And that is probably why AOL are giving them away free if you sign up to broadband.

A nice notebook. I bought it with broken screen at a good price. Bought new and it is looking good. Fast enough for me and does everything I want it to. Would recommend the Compaq 6720s to others.

Dislike: Comes installed with Windows Nice-to-look-at-but-not-very-well-made.
Like: You can install Windows XP.

Cheap laptop, screen isn't brilliant but is clear enough.
Certainly not for a power-user or anyone wanting to play the latest games on it.

When i first got it i thought it was great as i bought it at night. Then i left good feed back ,the next day i took a close look at it and at front of laptop was a crack on one corner ,,,, i wasnt very pleased as it said very good condition . The man whom sold it to me was very nice to deal with ,,, well he would be......On his defence though he did ask me to come back to his house and look at it , i didnt as i kneeded to get home . it works ok after i cleaned disk from things.....

It was A very good discription of the said item. This is one of the best spare or repair laptops I have brought and I have brought a lot of laptops on Ebay. I buy Computer/laptops for spares to repair customers computers/laptops. The only downside was PayPal not allowing me to using bank transfer and having to use postal order for the first time. All in ALL a very good buy
