Help I'm A Fish (DVD 2003)

This is a wonderful film with fantastic characters. The film will not scare young children as some animated ones do. There are lovely songs and music, a truly lovely film.

This delightfully animated feature film tells the story of three children Fly, Stella and Chuck who go on a fishing trip but get caught up in a thrilling adventure.

Stumbling upon Professor MacKrills mysterious laboratory little Stella acciendentally drinks a potion that turns her into a starfish! Fly and Chuck realise that the only way to save her is to turn themselves into fish and search for her in the ocean.

However the is a problem-they only have 48 hours to find Stella and get the antidote or they will remain fish forever.
Follow Fly, Chuck and Stella's enchanting undersea adventures in this beautifully animated feature that is packed with lots of fun, delightful songs and amazing adventures.

This film is ok, not great.
A few annoying songs, I think it just lacks the magic that Disney or Dreamworks manage to incorperate into their movies.
Still my kids watched it, and enjoyed it, but haven't put it on since...

Bought this DVD for my 5 year old. She loves it. Really funny dvd, colourful and great characters. Recommended for age groups 3-7.

keeps the children happy and busy, one of my children asked for it o when i saw it up for bidding i waited for it then bid and won it, dont see why should have to write al this, it works

Bought to kill the boredom of the rainy days in the school holidays. Watched with my 6 and 7 year old. Both said there were scary bits in it, but it was mainly due to the music. Overall everyone enjoyed it. It kept them both quite for more than an hour so it was well worth the money. As ever there was a happy ending.

Purchased for my little girl & was pleasantly surprised by how good the film was.
Well animated great storyline & graet songs in the movie too.
Needless to say my 5 year old daughter loves it & more than bearable for an adult if you are watching it 5 times a day.

My daughter first watched this DVD whilst in Portugal - she wanted to watch it all the time. The story was lovely, if not a little predictable, but ideal for young children - made a change from watching Disney all the time. At £2 including delivery and brand new it was a real steal. All holiday she asked if when we got home could we buy this film - she's really happy now.

We bought this film to watch on holiday but it was a bit of a letdown. We all enjoyed 'Finding Nemo', another underwater film and this seemed very drab and pedestrian by comparison.
The characters were irritating and stereotyped- why are all the 'intelligent' children in films characterized as humourless pompous, usually overweight, glasses-wearing showoffs?
The film had none of the beauty and humour of 'Finding Nemo' and altho' I didn't especially enjoy 'Shark Tale', that too was visually much stronger than this film.

The films o.k but my daughter only watched it for around 10minutes then wanted something else on. shes 4 years old.

i gave it to my step mom and my sisters age 8,4 and little brother 2 watched it but werent very impressed. they went off and staretd playing with there toys.

Because of the qulity of films today is so great it does have an impact on the film. if the film was re done in the present the quality would be improved so the film would have alot more of an impact on the children. the quality that it is now has an effect on the audience so they are not easily impressed.

A sweet cartoon film. With a very catchy tune by Little Trees on it. The kids love it and I am still humming the tune!

Really easy going kids film, which I also enjoyed watching. There were bits that made me chuckle too. My 3 year old loved the fact that it was about fishes and no doubt it will be watched repeatedly. A good sunday afternoon watch!!

Still have not recieved help I'm a fish DVD. Very dissapointed as this was present for little girls birthday.

Brilliant kids film. My 10 year old loves it. If your kids are into Disney movies particularly ones with singing then this movie is for them.

I love this film!I sawit when I was little! It's soo cute and the music is soo catchy! Well worth buying!

This is an excellent all round family film. Alan Rickman (Prof Snape in Harry Potter) and Terry Jones (Monty Python) are a few of the people who do the voices for various of the characters, and they do bring their characters to life really well and you get right into the film as though you are in with them. Great storyline with a few twists and a lovely heart-warming ending.

This is a great film to sit down and watch with your kids. The bonus is there are happy watching it and you get a little rest.... lol All round cracker film.

BOUGHT FILM FOR MY CHILDREN, WHO ENJOYED IT, I WOULD SAY THIS FILM IS GOOD FOR 4-9 YEAR OLD BUT NOT MUCH OLDER,GOOD ANIMATED FEATURE FILM.

Decided to buy this after taping it from TV and then ruining the copy right in the middle of a good song. My son has watched it numerous times and we love the originality of the story, together with fantastic animation and good songs. The fact that the very lovely Alan Rickman also stars is neither here nor there :-)

This a well-directed animated feature with a good story line and characters..fun for all the family.
I especially enjoyed the 5:1 Surround Sound
