If you are buying this then chances are you saw it in an Imax theatre first, right?
If not then you may find the story weak and the effects not so hot. If you use the 3D Colour Code glasses that come with it then it does make a difference.
Now if you really want to see this movie in good 3D then invest in a Shutter System...there are several available on ebay and some even convert your regular 2D TV into 3D! Ok, so it isn't going to jump out at you but it does give it depth and is definately a new way to look at things.
As for the film, I really love the music which is supplied by Arid and Lunascape. I have since bought these artists CDs which are also worth looking out for. Although with either of the 3D options the bigger the TV the better also the new type TVs may not handle the 3D so well - so if you have HD or LCD type TV it may look distorted, although I will add I tried it on my PC and my monitor is LCD and it looked fine so you may just get away with it.
Alternativly look for an Imax near you and see this as it was intended.

) A very well presented 3D movie (also includes a second disc with the film in 2D)
The plot is easy to follow, with an excellent soundtrack and visual effects. I have personally watched this 3D movie on a projector which in my opinion gave the best 3D effects, compared to viewing on a normal TV or LCD screen.
Do not expect an in depth story line, or to take it too seriously. Its fun to watch and definately worth putting on to amuse your friends with a few drinks.
