Only true Beatles fans would buy this, which is a shame because it does give an insight into the Worlds greatest group! Remembering it's 40 years on, and we all know how much things have changed! The story line has it's moments, but the music is still fantastic.... go on give it a try....

Reliving my youth

My likes are very simple in this case, I'm a guy, now 54, reliving his teenage years with this film and hoping to show my teenage son and daughter just how I would have dressed and the music of the times. It's a great "wet Sunday afternoon film" that can be enjoyed by all the family.
There is nothing to dislike, everyone over forty would know of the film, just sit back and enjoy !!!

This is the film to take you back to the Beatles at there best, A great classic with loads of original music of Lennon & McCartney a must for Beatles Fans.
Wilfred Bramble (Albert Steptoe) Plays Pauls grandad, and I think he was born looking like an old man, Lots of faces you will recognize. Great interviews with the lads and people from the age of pop in the 60s/70s.
This film is a must for Beatles fans all over the world

having grown up in the 60s the beatles music among others was all around unlike today i had this film on vhs and wanted to get it on dvd having disposed of my video player not only does this film bring back fond memories for me its also something i can leave my grandchildren so they to can enjoy what was a great era the 60s buy it the musics still great

With John,Paul, George and Ringo ie. The Beatles you can't go far wrong.It's not their best but if you are old enough to remember them you should enjoy it. It's an oldie but goody.It brings back lots of memories from childhood.

In addition to the Beatles, cast members included Wilfrid Brambell as Paul's grandfather, who was billed as "also starring" after the main title, Norman Rossington as their manager, John Junkin as "Shake," Lionel Blair as a featured dancer, Victor Spinetti as the television director and in cameos David Langton, John Bluthal as a car thief and Derek Nimmo in an uncredited role as Leslie Jackson (a magician).
