The Hairy Bikers are probably the funniest and most entertaining of the cook's/chefs that are on TV just now.
Simon and Dave on there travels visit many countries viewing and showing us the beautiful scenery and sharing the delicious recipes they come across including some old British classics.
A must for all food lovers and a definite must for bikers..
10 out of 10 for entertainment and 10 out 10 for the recipes, some I have made and thoroughly enjoyed...

Needed to buy it to catch up the old programs, it is really excellent value for the DVD's and the delivery was the fastest ever yet experienced.

Excellent dvd gets you in stitches and tasty menu's, well most of them.

Whilst the resemblance of two fat blokes is to the two fat ladies appears...well this is only a resemblance indeed. Si & Dave embark to travel the world and go and cook in countries to bring us the natural way of the cuisine in that country...and in the case of Morocco actually using traditional cookware with traditional ingredients.
Only a chosen few will be able to say upon looking at the various programmes - that place there, i've been there and that food they are cooking, i've eaten that dish...etc.
Because of the approach of showing us bits of the country and then preparing the local dish...this gives the 'Michael Palin' approach...i.e.: you'll get more out of understanding more of the dish, when knowing a little more of where it came from...
Si & Dave are not shy in their approach of good local dishes and you actually see them trying local food, searching for local ingredients and then producing their version of that food...
Great approch, great series...long may it continue...

Imagine two mates who share a passion for motorbikes, food, beer, discovering new places and people. Who respect different cultures and will try anything in their quest to share this with their audience, and who, above all, are funny and entertaining and you have the Hairy Bikers ! Buy this dvd and you won't be disappointed. If you ever get the chance to meet Si and Dave do so, they are two of the nicest most genuine people you can hope to meet.
