Without any hesitation I can say this phone is an absolute gem, a rather hefty one at that but its not more than 1mm thicker than the k810/i.
Firstly this is a serious phone. A serious phone with beauty. Touch-Flo 3D is mightily impresive and while the Windows mobile system is more functional than 'consumer friendly' this is beacuase it is not a toy.
Apple fans would have you believe the iphone is the best thing since sliced bread, and while the reviewer respects and indeed owned an iphone, it is the revolutionary concepts (such as touch screen, app-store, 3G, widescreen, accelerometer) that it innovated that made/makes it great. Now other manufcturers are smply learning to do it better.. how a phone can omit standard video capture, copy and paste and MMS and still be considered untouchable goes to show the over-hype.
It is neccessary to mention as the spectre of the iphne looms large over the entire mobile phone market. This isn't a comparison this is just to say for all touch screen phones; if you find yourself wanting for an easier typing experience you should look no further than the Touch Pro, with its glorious high-resolution screen to its rubber key, raised keyboard which easly trumps all of its predecessors and the newer T-mobile G1 by a country mile.
Excellent for web browsing - facebook, bbc, msn, ebay etc. - with the skyfire browser allowing you to view the REAL INTERNET such as Adobe Flash elements of websites such as the REAL YouTube(not the mobile version with limited videos that are currently available on all phones), BBC iPlayer, ESPN video highlights etc. all at 3G speeds which are comparable to home internet connections.
There are some fiddly issues such as the Windows system leading you through multiple menus to access certain features but if you're familiar with the platform you should become accustomed more quickly.
NOT FOR THE TECH NOVICES unfortunately but if you want a phone for any task, Internet, Email, Document editing(comes with Mobile Office!) even sum Games look no further
