HTC Touch Diamond P3700

Hello, eBayers! I decided to write my first review =)
Recently I bought HTC Diamond, but it was on English and locked to carrier. Google rules!! =)))) Now it is unlocked and on my native language. I like this phone becuse of its excllent resolution screen, for a lot of programs for WM (I need navi first of all). But I don't like touchscreen. It is worse than iphone digitizer. I don't like short battery life. I think this phone is for WM and HTC fans. HTC Diamond is small phone and any pocket can contain it (iphone don't).
I think that HTC Diamond is great mini-computer for advansed users, who can customize it, but for people who want use only standard telephone functions I think it is not very good.

I wanted phone with sat nav and wifi, it got touch screen as well, it is great phone for me. I have seen this phone in very good price that i bought it.

Sleek, slim and lightweight. Quick processor and loads of memory available. I definately recommend this phone who values style and functionality.

easy to use, love the new WM6.1 so much easier to use than the older versions, the phones quick to respond. i would recomend going for an unbranded one as mine is a voda one and they always stick on some restrictions. its easy to debrand after if you know where to look for a new rom etc... i replaced a blackberry as i wanted to go back to a windows mobile and im so glad this is what i chose. no regrets, hands down this is packed with features and the various keypad/input features are excellent and would suit everyone!

I like the size and the 'computing'power.
I have had a lot of phones in the past, including recently an XDA orbit 1 which I replaced with an XDA orbit2 then this.

It would be nice if it had external memory as well, but I have to admit, Ive not got near the 4gb capacity of this so far.

All in all, more power than an xda at a far smaller size.

A great phone that can and will do everything you want it to do.........but if you have big fingers forget the on-screen keyboard. The phone works best with the handwriting recognition but can be a bit fiddly.

I have allways wanted a pda like phone, that is not too bulkky. That is exactly why I got,and I was not disappointed.Nice functioning phone.

Excellent phone. Most reviews genuine in terms of can be slow to respond i.e. touch. some great utilities around. battery poor last 1 day only with general use.

I like the fact that is small, compact it has a lot of features and options. The screen is excellent. The only problem is the ram memory and the speed, the touch flow it's not flowing that good...:-(

This is HTC's answer to the iPhone. Whilst it is an excellent phone, and the windows mobile system is easy to use it does have a few oddities.
The battery life is not spectacular, use too many of the apps and it flattens quicker than I like.
It does not have an expandable memory, no socket for micro sd, just what is built in and it's too easy to use it all up. Put a couple of pieces of music on, a couple of extra apps and its all gone.
The usb socket on the phone is unique, you can only use the lead that comes with it.
There is no 3.5mm jack socket, the headphones use the odd USB socket. You can get an adapter, but previous HTC phones had the socket, used standard USB and had expandable memory. I believe all these have been addressed by the Diamond 2 but why the retrograde step?
Having said all that, it looks good, it performs faultlessly, it's neat and slips into a pocket or bag easily. The camera is excellent, the sound quality through the supplied headphones is excellent, the 3d touchflow interface is first class.
Overall I'm happy with the phone, I've now got extra leads, adapters, the desktop cradle etc., and would recommend the phone.

i did not have much hope for this phone as the first one i oredered was doa.all that went though my mind was what kind of phone cant make it in the post.but i sent it back for a replacment and all i can say is i am glad i did the phone is smooth and sexy to look at. it does everything a smartphone should do.the only draw backs it has is that the battery does not last long(about two days if you hardly use it) and the touch flow os is a bit slow other than that its all good.

i bought the phone as an upgrade to the phone i use at the moment and also as a back up if my main phone plays up.im a self employed sat eng who subs directly to sky but am unable to use the phone as it runs windows mobile 6.1 and not version 6 as was stated in the advert.so at the moment the phone is still in the box,unused.if sky update to 6.1 im laughing if not im out of pocket,but hey my mistake..should of done my homework.

What at first looks like an excellent little smartphone that has a big memory and all the bells and whistles, turned out to be an unreliable device with very dodgy 'windows' software, and turned into an expensive mini brick. Smartphone ? Nope.
