A great film when originally released and a good quality DVD with sound and picture quality of a good standard. Not just a "cowboy" film but quite an adult interpretation, with an exceptional performance by Kirk Douglas as a tubercular Doc Holliday and with extremely good performances by every other actor. The title theme, in itself, is worth the price of the disc. (As an aside, this was the film that originally prompted me to buy my first video recorder, many years ago, when the film was being shown on TV and I SOOOOO wanted a copy for myself!)
