This is an excellent first series of grey's anatomy. Every episode is original and catching. I never wanted it to end and couldn't stop watching it. Great !!!We learn a lot about the characters as the series goes on. I love them all, they all have their individual personalitys which develop through out the series. Excellent sitcom!

I've heard that it is an excellent series, just wish I had time to watch it :P so review from my mother :) enjoy.

I decided to purchase this item for my partner because she absolutly loves this series and wanted to watch them all from start to finish.

Being a fan of ER and Private Practice, I decided to give Grey's Anatomy a go and I was not disapppointed by the show!.

The main problem seems to be the fact that when you name a show after the leading character, said person should be a little out of the ordinary. Exhibit A: Buffy (and its spin-off Angel), Huff and, again, House - three programs featuring edgy, scarred protagonists who would like to make a difference but struggle to accept themselves. What does Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) have that makes her so special? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. In fact, the Seattle Grace Hospital intern who got in because of her famous mother (Kate Burton) is the least interesting character of the first episode, and that's something that stuck for the rest of the inaugural season.

FANTASTIC SERIES. BEST HOSPITAL DRAMA I'VE SEEN, NOT TOO MUCH GORE BUT EXCITING ENOUGH TO HOLD YOUR ATTENTION. THE CHARACTERS ARE GREAT AND HAVE GOOD STORY LINES WITHOUT SPENDING TOO MUCH TIME FOCUSSING ON THEM OUTSIDE OF THE HOSPITAL. OH, AND PATRICK DEMPSEY CAN TAKE MY TEMPERATURE ANY TIME HE LIKES!

A friend recommended it - did not have high expectations to be honest.
It was FANTASTIC - I am a total convert. In comparison with other hostpital dramas, in my opinion, it not like any other, well worth a look.

Beware it could get you hooked!

Saw a few episodes on tv and i was hooked!
i therefore had to buy it and its been the best viewing ive had since Friends!
you really cannot wait to see the next episode!
cliffhangers and dramatic paused as well as exciting incidents are a regular feature in this new edition to television viewing!

If you like hospital drama then this is easy going, not too gory & graffic of blood & guts, but i think definately worth watching. Once seen you will become hooked.

I was an ER addict but it really has lost it now, then having seen part of an episode of Greys Anatomy on Sky (series two) I decided I had to see it from the beginning so went looking for the DVD's. This is a brilliant series, everything ER had but more (Patrick Dempsey outweighs George Clooney by far!), amusing, sexy and fast paced drama. Try it and you'll love it, even the music is good and complements each episode - can't wait for series three and four to be released!

am totally obsessed with greys anatomy,have just finshed watching the complete second series aswell,am looking forward to finding out what happens in season 3 and 4, i used to be a huge ER fan,so thought i would give this series a try and i have to say it is ten times better than ER,i love all the characters in this series as you get to know who they are as individuals, my favourite character without a doubt though is derek sheperd aka dr mcdreamy, as im sure all other female fans will totally agree with me, i find this series really heartwarming,funny and sad, and would highly recommend others to watch greys anatomy if they enjoy ER.

It's just one of those tv programs that hooks you from the first 5 minutes & is highly addictive. So much so that you can't wait to see what happens next. A delight from start to finish & leaves you wanting more

I absolutely love Grey's Anatomy, I love the DVD, i've already watched series 2 and 3 but needed to watch series 1 to find out what happened in the beginning. I can't get enough of it!!!

This is the best Drama I have seen in a long time. It has just the right amount of humour, tension and reality - its great. I can recommend this highly. Set in an American hospital, and focussing on the surgical interns, you don't have to have an interest in medicine to watch it, just an appreciation for good quality television. Blows ER and Holby city out of the water. Enjoy

these are a great tv show especially by what is shown on some of todays television. It is a great show with very good characters and what they all get up to. I bought these dvd's because I really enjoyed watching the show on television. You can watch these again and again. Really good buy.

Love the complete series. Enjoyed watching it again. I will continue to watch it over and over till my second series arrives. All the males are brill infact everyone in it is brill .Highly recommend

It's a breath of fresh air to watch, funny and serious with plenty of pace for everyone. Better than er as it's not all gore or snowing! Quite enjoyable for all. of wouldn't be complete without the drop dead gorgeous actors/actress's

I bought this box set because I had started to watch Grey's Anatomy at Series 2. This is excellent as it starts when they (the junior doctors, Meredith ect.) start their lst day. I have only watched 2 episodes but cannot wait to watch the rest. If you have never watched Grey's Anatomy at all you must buy this.
