great album if you like GFR , great album if you like bluesy rock surprisingly influential band for a lot of 70s rock artists and good variation of material , still gigging today although not the original line up

I first bought the album Closer to Home as an 8 track cassette, to play in my car, a very long time ago it still sounds as good today (the new CD not the 8 track which is long dead). Grand Funk's mantra must be 'never let a bad lyric get in the way of a good tune'.Still good car music.

The album compilation is excellent apart from one slightly "soppy" song .
A real taste of the late sixties,early seventies american flower power / rock .
Worth the money spent . No wonder Homer Simpson loves these guys !!!!
