Really fantastic item! So easy to use and understand! No need for tapes or a tv guide! So much better than video tapes!

this machine is the easiest recorder i have ever used,i have 3 in my house now and they all work really well,one touch recording makes it really simple to use

) I had a HD flat screen LCD television with a Sky box. However I cannot afford to pay for Sky so decided to get rid of that and buy a Freesat HD box, which I did on Ebay. I then found there were programes on Freeview that were not on Freesat and when I saw this Freeview box with recording facility; I decided to go for it. So now I can call up all the free stations.
The recorder is fantastic and so easy to programme. You go into the Menue then into programmes, move the cursor to the programme you want to record, press one button which underlines in red the one you have selected and bingo, you record that programme. I am also impressed by the number of recordings you can make with 80GB of space. I do not think I can fill it up, there is a line indication to show the amount of space used and the space available for use.

I have always kept away from Alba Goodmans Bush wharfdale (same company) at one stage they became cheap and nasty, not any more.
The Goodmans range od HDD Freeview Receivers very good well designed machines.
Goodmans GHD8015DVT twin tuner receiver is exceptional.
As most machines auto set up and it is just that.
Playback and recording could not be simpler.
To record select channel click on EPG go to the programme that you want press record. Even scroll down to another channel at a later/earlier time same again press record, press EPG to come out of the programme walk away all done.
Press Lib: will show all programmes recorded, choose one press play. So simple.
Easy to delete as well.
These machines are not so new as they once were, they suite me just fine.
Nothing fancy, best on the market, still buy new for around £106 inc p/p.
