It has been described as a masterpiece and deservedly so. The realistic language, ott violence and abundance use of drugs may not be to everyone’s taste. If you like the Sopranos episodes you will enjoy this film, clearly some of the concepts for the Soprano evolved from this film. As many members of the cast later appear in the Sopranos “Coincidence? I think not” Plot Summary: Depicts the life local boy Henry Hill and his friends as they progress through the hierarchy of the local mafia gang. Henry Hill’s opening remark is; "As far back as I can remember, I've always wanted to be a gangster."
