The Good, The Bad And The Ugly, written by Age Scarpelli, Luciano Vincenzoni and Sergio Leone is the third and last western in Clint Eastwood's spaghetti trilogy. Director Sergio Leone substitutes for the upright puritan Protestant ethos, so familiar in Hollywood westerns, a seedy cynical standpoint towards death and mortality, as a team of brutal bandits battle to unearth a fortune buried beneath an unmarked grave. Joining Clint, clearly "The Good", is the irredeemably "Bad" Lee and the resolutely "Ugly" Eli Wallach. The complete plot of bloodshed and betrayal winds its way through the American Civil War, filmed to resemble the French battlefields of World War One, to end in the climatic Dance Of Death. Arguably the quintessential Italian Western, this 1966 film boasts a fine Ennio Morricone score featuring a main theme that reached No. 1 in the world's pop charts. This special edition DVD has been restored to its full length with the addition of three missing scenes from the original Italian version.

This film has been one of my favorites since i first saw it in the cinema.The finest cast possible for a great western . it,s only drawback being that my copy is the widescreen version.but still a great movie.I also intend to replace my video copies of the rest of the Clint Eastwood collection.Hopefully through ebay.

excellent filmI have seen this film before it is one of my favorites along with pale rider but compared to his other films i think this is one of the best out of all of them.This film to me makes me feel as good as the charecter him self.As the charecter smokes as i do he is smart like me and also creative.

Classic film, an absolute bargain - very prompt - and I will enjoy watching it. the condition is good (hardly used).This film is very watchable and the music is memorable. It certainly pays to shop on e-bay!

Good, Bad and Ugly DVDClint Eastwood at his finest. Its a shame most modern day actors and actreses aren't as good. By the way I think Ebay are taking liberties when demanding that you should write a minimum of 100 characters for this. Maybe I don't want too.

the goog bad and the uglyThis is one of the best of the Clint Eastwood westerns. It has a good mixture of exciting and comical scenes that keep you glued to your chair.It has a very good story line of amixture of bandits including Eli Wallach as the bad and Lee Van Cleef as the ugly, with a very good mixture of backing music it is a film that western fans will play over and over again.

) I love the fact that things like this old film that are hard to buy in the shops are only a click away on e Bay.
I bought it for a friend who loves all of Clints old Westerns but didn't have this one on DVD.
I have not seen the film myself but my friend was very pleased, a great gift at a great price.
