The original Japanese movie is the version you should buy, forget the dire USA version with scens featuring a rotund Raymond Burr tacked on. Part allegory...see Godzilla as the Imperialist Forces of the USA laying waste to Japan, partly and uncanny foresight into the ways Science is perverted these days. It is a true 'Classic'....
