The Godfather Part 3 (DVD 2004)

Released 16 years after part 2, this film caused a bit of a stir, and has people opinions split. Some think it is it is the best of the three others think it’ pretentious.

My own opinion Francis Ford Coppola did try to make this film ‘deeper’ hence there is a lot of symbolism. It’s not quite what I expected.

Plot Summary:

Michael Corleone wants to legitimise his business interests and leave a legacy for his children, realising that this cannot be achieved it is his turn over power

Buying the 3 film boxset may be more cost effective

It shows micheals attempts at gaining legitimacy for his buisness, by setting up the corleone foundation. It shows his eventual death...
Fantastic, riveting ending to a fantastic trilogy. brilliant acting, fast moving story line. A masterpiece.

people say this film isnt fitt tobe called godfather part III, its true that its nowhere near the standard of the 1st too but its still al pacino as michale corleone which is good enuff for me :O

I'd never been able to watch this one in its entirety and I did the right thing by getting it on e-bay at an extremely worthwhile price. Not for the squeamish but nevertheless very enjoyable. It will stay in my collection.
