well here i was,sick of my friends nagging me to get a new phone as they were totally sick of seeing it every day..so u can imagine me...with the same phone for over two years i needed a change..and what better than an armani..!!i was initailly very confused over the Prada and the Armani..but with thorough research decided on the armani!!with no regrets so far!!i agree with ppl that it should be used by someone with small fingers..the rest just takes time to adjust like the meassaging...i didnt like the fact that it doesnt ring very loud...but other than that it has all the features that u wud require...and since i always had a nokia phone i was apprehensive switching to samsung..but it took me two hours and i got the hang of it...so its not that hard:0

the camera is neat with its flash..and me being the sorts who loves her music..well this is def the phone to have!!

its smart, sleek, easy to use what more do u want..has excellent battery backup...great for the ppl who talk alot..and i def come in that category!!

over all a great buy..no regrets!!

THE PHONE LOOKS BETTER THAN ANY OTHER ON DA MARKET 2008 and will always look gud. It ent black its a unique browish black n its small, slim and light. The only thing at first i had a problem wid da touch screen but you get used to it like anyother phone. You can download files to it even put a full movie on da phone by converting it to mp4 (GR8 QUALITY) so many music files n more n more. the phone is just da best. for the price i got it.... im over THE MOON. I LOVE MA PHONE n NO ONE GETS TO TOUCH IT. its a fashion accessory GIORGIO ARMANI matches ma tshirts. Make sure if u get or have one..always wash ur hands after a bag of doritos coz da mess sticks to da screen HAHAHAHA

it is quite a stylish phone but usually people who use pda's would like this phone but for others they will have to0 get used to it. it takes time and efford and u will get into the flow of things. the hard case looks cool. not many functions which you normally get in other samsung phones are available but and additional WIFI and reading word documents is available. cool phone but for the price and lack of functions it dont get the full points

A compact phone with several features. However the touch screen is also it's weak point. Larger fingers will have difficulty negotiating the small key spaces, difficult to control. Texting is a nightmare, if you do a lot then forget this phone, you have a small area in which to type and a wrong press with those stubby fingers and its all gone as you are back to the main screen. The predictive text is quite frankly useless so the only way to make any progress is to switch this feature off. No radio either and it does not accept standard headphones. Its nice looking though and the mp3 player is reasonable. However not worth a fraction of the current price so only for the hardened Armani fans, I would say give it a miss.

I love this product it was a bit hard to use at first but now I have the hang of it. I love that I can listen to music on it too so I dont need a seperate ipod.

the phone touch screen doesn't work properly, software is very slow.when the number pad is used the numbers are not typerd properly.....................................................

The phone itself looks ok at first but once you turn it on it's down hill all the way!
There is no real appeal or anything to capture your imagination, the graphics are poor at best and the colour scheme is worse than that of my first ever mobile which was an old philips brick! The colour scheme is typical armani which is ok if you like armani, which i do, but not in a phone. It's bland, a contrast of off white text on a beige background. The only time you'll see any colour on this phone is if you use the camera.
The user interface isn't appealing either, the menu screen is plain and if you've got bigger fingers than my 4 ear old son then you'll struggle to select the option you're looking for, so imagine if you will how hard it is to text.
Speaking of texting the messaging screen is too complex. Don't get me wrong, it has everything there, predictive or standard text options, contact pane and text pane, the only trouble is that it's all on one screen and trying to switch between words when in predictive mode is nearly impossible as the confirm button is next to the button to change between words so you end up exiting the text screen and moving onto to confirm who you're sending it to, that isn't too much of a problem really as you can just go back and edit text, the problem with this scenario is when you start to edit text it starts the cursor at the beginning of you text and before you realise you've got the end of the text at the start, so you'd have to be Dan Brown to decipher the text!
The ring tone choices are ok if you're into eastern music, and trying to switch between tones will require the patience of a saint.
The sound is slightly similar to that of a brass band playing inside a tin can (i imagine).
I recieved one which was really badly scratched so was less than impressed before i'd even switched it on, and i'm sure there are some people who would disagree with my comments (but they're probably blind or deaf or yet to celebrate their first birthday) and to be fair i did only try the phone out for 30 minutes earlier today.
The only thing this phone has going for it is the name embossed on the front of it but if you're thinking of buying one to flash around then beware because if you ever have to show off the features it would be somewhat similar to sticking a fat bloke with more spare tyres than dunlop in an armani suit and getting him to strip instead of the chippendales! You WILL be dissapointed. Armani on the outside it may be but just remember it's samsung on the inside!

is a good phone but who is having it need a time. it take's to long to txt a msg. u must have a small finger tips, but is a good nice light phone for a woman.

nice little phone ,takes a while to get used to, no good if you have fat fingers.to send a text can take an eternity but it does look very good.only down side is it scratches very easy if you don t use the case.pictures taken using this phone are very good quality.

This phone is very small & slim. Easy to carry & has got lots of function. Specially it's unique design is really unbeatable.

When it comes to physical appearance and design, the Samsung Armani phone has what it takes. It is no larger than 9 or 10 stacked credit cards, 88mm x 55mm x 10.5mm (3.5" x 2.2" .4"), and weighs only 86g (3.0oz). The included case that it snaps into adds a good layer of protection for an additional 34g (1.2oz), while still providing access to the camera and all of the buttons and ports on the phone's edges. It is probably a good idea to use the case, even though the Armani's 2.6", QVGA resolution display seems reasonably rugged.

The display is touch sensitive and intended to be used with a fingertip, just like the one on the Apple iPhone. It senses even very light finger touches on its surface, but also seems responsive to indirect finger touches as well. For example, I was able to fumble through the menus and dial pad on the phone while wearing a pair of insulated leather gloves, something that I found quite surprising. Considering that the touch screen works in spite of leather, paper, or plastic most of the time, it seems quite possible that it is somewhat pressure sensitive, even though the display doesn't appear to have any real give to it. The touch action doesn't work as well as the iPhone's, but overall it works better than LG's Venus and Prada handsets do.

The only two keys on the front of the phone are the call send and end keys. The volume, camera, and hold/lock buttons, along with the microSD slot and power/headset/data port are found on the sides of the phone. A safety latch on the bottom releases the rear battery cover, which sits below the camera lens and flash.

In terms of accessories, the Samsung Armani phone ships with a USB cable, a stereo headset, and an Armani cleaning cloth - all packed in a soft black bag. In addition to the previously mentioned snap-on cover, the phone also comes with a soft pouch for storage.

The overall build of the phone is rock solid and very attractive. It has all of the appropriate hardware keys, and a sufficiently large and useable touchscreen. The hardware design of the Armani phone is a good one.

It is very nice phone very elegant you may answer make calls and enjoy the small size of the phone it could disappear in your shirt pocket lovely size. but it awful to send messages dial a number it is very hard and it make you do lot of mistake and when u receive massage you don’t want to text back you prefer to call its more easy for you . Mobile company they will love this phone and ppl who want to answer the phone and not pressing back much button but if you want to use the full function in this phone it will give hard time.

I love this phone!! Its just so flashy, and at the same time really easy to use!!
