8 Mile with attitude!

If you love any sort of Rap, by Rap I mean the likes of Eminem & 50 Cent, then you'll like this film.

8 Mile had battles, this has character, pulls on the emotional heart strings, and portrays the difficult upbringing Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson had to endure.

Vicious beatings whilst making a life selling drugs, seeing his mother killed, and a meteroic rise to hood fame!

A must watch for any 50 Cent fan.

I rented it last night, and this is one DVD my collection is not complete without.

8 Mile stinks compared to this!

American film, based on and covering the life of 50 cents, from childhood to drugs his downfall and his rise to rapper, including all the hardships, the highs and lows,
WELL WORTH A PLAY, FOR ALL TO SEE AND LEARN FROM.

This film was brill! Well better than 8 mile, and i love eminem! Alot better story, alot better acting. The best biography i've seen. There should be no comparison to 8mile this is so much more real and not one bit cheesey. You don't want to miss this!

excellent film brings out the 50 cent everyone should get to know.good soundtrack there aint anything to fault i just loved this

I saw this film at the cinema and lked it that much that I bought it on DVD, and also the soundtrack. It is a film thats easy to watch oer and over again.

brillant film, i thinks its about 50cent growning up and how he got his dimple in his cheek by a bullet, 50cent is a excellent actor in it.
the films of success its like 8 mile but better, there are some wonderful moments in it, some sad ones, and ones that brings a tear to your eye.
when it came out in the cinema's people dissed it saying it will be a violent gangster movie, it is in some way (ok theres alot of swearing init)but its based on a bit like real life; drug dealing, stateing your teritority and proctecting your family, gradually building sucess in the music industry.
overall its a really good movie, its one i can watch over and over again

Having converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does the battle scene great justice; coupled with surround sound, you'll be gripped by the amazing cinematography. I would recommend the director's cut that includes scenes about the relationship between the lead character and his estranged wife and helps you to understand the motivation behind his decision. The run time is 183 minutes for the directors cut and 120 minutes for the cinema version. I was, however, disappointed by the lack of extras, which any fan of this classic would expect to be included. There's only a 20-minute interview with the director and other shot "making-of" vignettes.

this has to be my favourate film which i have been trying to buy for ages but cant find a stockest with reasonalable price and then found it on ebay I love everything about this item

Great film if you like rapping..which I do ;) Some drugs scenes may not be suitable for 15 year olds..but other than that its a pretty good film!

Great Film. It gives an awesome insight into how 50 cent 'Curtis' grew up, and how he has become what he is now. Deffinately worth every pennie!

I bought this DVD for my son, who has seen the film before and enjoyed the the story of how 50 cent made his way from the streets the top of the music industry. He likes this genre of music alot, so he found the soundtrack to the movie excellent. He also liked the action in the film. It is a violent film, portraying violence on the streets and in prison, but it is also a biographical story showing drive, determination, and passion. Great film for teenage lads aged 15 upwards.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE THERE'S NOT ONE THING I DISLIKE ABOUT IT, I'VE WATCHED IT ABOUT 10 TIMES SINCE I BOUGHT, ITS THE BEST FILM EVER, FANTASTIC, 50 CENT ROCKS. I DECIDED TO BUY IT BECAUSE I WANTED THIS FILM FAR A LONG TIME AND WHEN I SEEN IT ON EBAY I COULD'NT LEAVE IT THERE.

This is a true life example of how someone tries to get away from the wild side of
life and become legal & comfortable. Without drastically changing his inner character. This movie was a very interesting experience combining action, music &
friendship !

I brought it for my sisters birthday as she absolutly loves 50 cent! I watched it when I recieved it to make sure the dvd worked ok and just to say i've seen it! I thought it was a bit discusting for my liking but all to there own - that's all I can say

love this film , greatv entertainment whilst being slightly educational about soem of the things that happened in 50 cent's life very violent but that aint too bad
but overall great film
would definitely recommended it

This is a very good film to add to anyone's dvd collection. It an action packed thriller and shows you a thing or two about this rapper.
