a fine collection of all the episodes about the Ropers and of course the fourmiles next door.

A must for all nostalgic lovers of the classic 70's sitcom. Witty and fun packed. Loved the program then and still find it as fresh and amusing now. Suprised myself my sitting through several episodes back to back.

I like and I am happy with all my purchases. What I am not happy with and very fed up with is every time I log into my e-mail I find lists and lists of useless emails from ebay.
Something you are watching is about to end, You have put a bid on an item, an item you were watching has ended, new items from a saved seller, congratulations you have won an item, sorry you were outbid on an item, sorry you didn't win the item.
Do you really think I dont allready know all of this. It is nothing but useless spam.
If an e-mail of importance were to come from e-bay I would miss as it would be deleted with the rest of the rubbish you send.

Classic sit com.. I was only about 8 when I first watched this and fancied a bit of nostalgia.. I wasn't sure whether I'd still find it funny but after the first series it just gets better and really enjoyed watching it again.. I think it really improves through each series and hasn't lost any of its charm or humour. It's sad in a way when you think of the untimely death of yootha george but I think it just serves to make it even more of a classic sit com.. I would definately recommend it. The first series wasn't the best but maybe it just takes a bit of getting in to because from the second series onwards I absolutely loved it.... Happy Viewing!!!

excellent dvds great quality. the characters in this that play george and mildred are fantastic. mr and mrs fourmile and tristram all play great parts in this series. Georges laid back attitude will keep you laughing as he continually shows up mildred and his neighbours. thoroughly enjoyable and i highly recommend.
