I am a fan of GENESIS and this is one of my favourite albums one reason only "suppers ready" this is an amaing concept song, the music in theatre the depth and sound of the lyrics placing outwards like a symphony is a jou to listen too.

The album has been re-mastered and it does show, the production is crystal clear and very impressive, you can hear many sounds of the drums hitting with distinct ettiqutte, this is a lovely album, one to saver, just buy it!

If you want a good example of the progressive rock of the early 70s, this is it - in my opinion Genesis' best album in this stream, and containing what I reckon is their most accomplished work, the 23-minute "Supper's ready". Yes, 23 minutes - this is progressive rock, after all, in its multifaceted, garish and possibly tongue-in-cheek glory. I'd definitely recommend this album as a sampler of the genre!

Genesis + Gabriel + Foxtrot = Prog Rock Heaven.

But I prefer the warmer, more vinyl sounding non remastered version.

Classic Genesis

This album contains the 23 minute epic Suppers Ready and is worth buying for that alone.
But you are also treated to Watcher of the Skies and the fantastic Can-Utility and the Coastliners.
The beautiful Hackett acoustic Horizons used to accompany Suppers Ready to fill one complete side of the original vinyl release (Ahhh those were the days)
