What a comedy series, if you have not seen it how are the penguins doing??????

Ruth and James are comic writing Geniuses (unlike me) even better by how the act opposite each other on screen.

I'm looking forward to the xmas special 2008 and hopefully there will be another series soon after.

havent watched any of this series gavin and stacey just didnt get round to it at time but clips look hilarious and well worth a punt easy re-sell if its rubbish...lol

really really funny series, always makes me laugh. brilliant comedy would highly reccomend to anyone.

Havig caught most of Gav and Stace on TV, this was one of those DVD's that had to be watched again and again in full. Pizza, beer, a few mates and non stop laughter, mostly at the expense of Rob Brydon. A modern day classic.

The jokes just keep on rolling, the contrasts of the 2 family just make it funnier when they all together and there are even jokes within the jokes that you get about 5 seconds after they said it lol

The small sitcom that grew to be a massive hit. Watch your favourite episode from series 1 & 2 at your leisure in this box set.

this was for my daughters birthday gift and i am very pleased with it.i would buy from them again definatley reccomend.

Great tv series, great to watch. A laugh all the way through. Great characters that fit in well with the storylines.

Loved the scenes of Barry. Very much enjoyed the Welsh Humour. After watching these dvds I couldnt help but talk like Nessa. Nessa was my favourite character. She reminded me of how people used to talk when I was at school in Barry.

i bought this dvd set as it is very funny and will watch over and over again i see gavin and stacy on tv and couldnt wait to buy this series

To tell the truth, I bought the DVD as a gift for my wife. She is a massive G&S fan and can't wait for Series 3 to be available.

I must admit that I did enjoy what I watched so roll on Series 3.

Brilliant comedy, fab acting. I decided to buy it after seeing 2 episodes on the t.v, and wanted to see the whole series.

I loved it, its a very funny series and I wanted to buy it because I hadn't seen the 1st series, how they met and got married. Its great that both DVDs has extra bits as well.

This comedy is one of the funniest ever in my opinion. Written by James Cordon and Ruth Jones, this comedy shows the lives of Gavin and Stacey and all their firends and family. With the hilarious Matthew Horne and Joanna Page along with Larry Lamb and Rob Brydon. This all star cast really show life between Wales and Essex and have some fun along the way! "Oh, what's occurring?"

Really funny very easy to watch. Its like the english version of friends. Brin is my favourite closely followed by ness. I really do hope they will make a series 3 xx

One of the best comedy series to hit our TV screens in the last decade! The casting is flawless and the performances are all excellent. Laugh-out-loud moments galore, larger-than-life characters a-plenty, and catch-phrases that have already become part of our comedy culture.

Never, ever before have the characters of a BBC sitcom been so real or individual. All of the episodes from season 1 on 1 DVD. LUSH!!!!

I watched the whole series in one go! Absolutely loved it, as did my 18 year old daughter. Fantatsic characters and so easy to watch, no boring or slow bits, was great entertainment and left us smiling from ear to ear!! :o)

Loved this the first time I saw it, even better watched again. Quality throughout with not a single weak performance from the wonderful cast. It's strength is in it's honesty and affection for the varied characters featured and a totally un-cynical take on life. You get the feeling that this was written with great affection and a love of life, with all its ups and downs. Most importantly it's also extremely funny without being at all cruel or mocking, yet still modern, relevant and occassionaly a bit naughty. A joy, I can't recommend this highly enough.
