This is a great film! I watched it when I was at uni sometime ago with a bunch a friends & really enjoyed it.
I had to purchase it & watch again so many thanks for a good value buy & a great addition to my collection.

This is a wonderful film - a great theme driving a fabulous story and well acted to boot. Stylish, but not so the style blinds one from the thoughtful and touching story. Five star cinema.

This is a more subtle, futuristic look at society than, say, Logan's Run or Brave New World. It presents a world where everyone is categorized precisely and all information about them known from birth. Constant checks are made to control people's movement and activities.

The chief protagonist tells us that he 'is not who he is' and shows us how the deception is achieved. The factor which threatens the fulfilment of his dream is not of his making and nothing to do with him. It is only the prejudice of those in charge which may blow his cover.

There are several twists which keep the viewer alert and enthralled.

I bought the dvd because I had seen part of the film on TV and wanted it all.

I love this film.
It is one of those that makes you think 'What if this could really happen in the future?'
A film that proves if ou put your mind to it you can accomplish your dream!
A must see.

Gattaca is an odd film, but worth a watch for the thoughts it provokes. I had to watch it as part of my History Degree - Scientific Utopias/Dystopias and it definately made me stop and think. If you like to watch full on action films or films you don't have to think about, this is not for you.
