Gary Moore - Power Of The Blues (CD 2004)

I bought the CD because I am a huge fan of Gary Moore and had just seen him in concert - and this was one CD that had escaped my collection!

Gary Moore has established himself as a top blues musician and his music is influenced by the American legends such as BB King. His music is also influenced by modern day blues artists such as Eric Clapton. His name in blues music is now become a legend within the industry and fans alike.
He can play a guitar if it was part of his birth and if I could only play half as good I would class myself a genius.
I buy a lot of blues music and Gary Moore has become one of my favourite artists.
His roots are in Ireland and I like how he never forgets his roots as he sometimes uses this within his music.
Have a long life Gary as we all want more of your unique sound.

I am on a mission to collect as many Gary Moore albums as i can,and i love his blues stuff,so when i saw this one i hadnt got i just had to have it.It was very reasonably priced,especially as it was a brand new disc,still wrapped,and the postage was realistically priced too.I paid via Paypal,which pleased the seller, and i received the disc very promptly,which pleased me.Sure enough it was as described,brand new, still wrappped,and it was very well packaged so it arrived in perfect condition.
The album itself? A little disappointing,although to be fair i havent listened to it enough yet.There doesnt seem to be an outstanding track on it,he usually manages a great slow ballad but even that seems to be lacking.Maybe it is just one blues album too many,and the he has exhausted the style.Still im glad i bought it,and i am sure it will grow on me eventually.Overall i am very pleased with the service i received and it made me buy two more Gary Moore albums off eBay,so my collection has increased by three.I am still looking for others.It seems to be a great way to buy music at a reasonable price and i will definitely buy more Moore,and others too!
